Epipremnum aureum +11 The Golden Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is a fast-growing, low-maintenance tropical vine known for its heart-shaped, green leaves splashed with golden-yellow variegation. Often called "Devil's Ivy" because it is notoriously difficult to kill, it is a highly adaptable, drought-tolerant houseplant perfect for shelves, hanging baskets, or climbing poles.

Key Plant FactsScientific Name:

Epipremnum aureumCommon Names: Devil's Ivy, Ceylon Creeper, Hunter's RobeNative Region: Solomon Islands and Southeast Asia

Growth Rate: Fast-growing; vines can grow 12-18" inches a month in optimal conditions.

Care InstructionsLight: Thrives in bright, indirect light. It will tolerate low-light conditions (including fluorescent office lighting), but too little light may cause it to lose its golden variegation. Avoid direct, harsh sun which can scorch the leaves.

Water: Let the top 1 to 2 inches of soil dry out completely between waterings. Drooping leaves are a good indicator the plant is thirsty. Do not allow it to sit in waterlogged soil to avoid root rot.Soil: Use a porous, well-draining potting mix (e.g., standard potting soil amended with peat moss, perlite, or vermiculite).

Temperature & Humidity: Prefers comfortable indoor temperatures between 65 to 85 degrees. They do best in regular household humidity but will tolerate drier environments.
