Aglaonema 'Maria' 6" pot

Aglaonema Maria (also known as the Emerald Beauty Chinese Evergreen) is a highly adaptable, beginner-friendly houseplant prized for its lush, dark green and silvery-variegated foliage. Native to tropical Asian forests, it thrives in warm indoor environments and is incredibly forgiving, even tolerating lower-light conditions.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but adapts beautifully to low-light corners. Keep out of direct sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. These plants like to remain somewhat evenly moist but will easily rot if overwatered.

Soil & Humidity: Plant in a well-draining, chunky potting mix (e.g., a mix with added perlite and orchid bark). It loves humidity, so misting occasionally or placing it near a humidifier is beneficial.

Temperature: Keep above 60° F (15.5° C). Protect it from cold drafts, air conditioning vents, and sudden temperature drops.
