Philodendron 'Congo Rojo' 4" pot

Caring for a Rojo Congo is straightforward if you mimic its natural tropical environment:

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct, harsh sun, which can scorch the leaves. It can tolerate medium light, but growth will slow.

Water: Water thoroughly when the top 50% of the soil feels dry. Ensure the pot has proper drainage and avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.

Soil: Use an airy, chunky mix. A great DIY combination is equal parts standard potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark.
