Alocasia 'Pink Princess' 6" pot
The Alocasia 'Pink Princess' is a rare, responsive tropical houseplant featuring deep emerald-green leaves and striking, muted pink stems (petioles). Because it has unstable variegation from a genetic mutation, it requires sustained, high-humidity environments and bright, filtered light to prevent the leaves from reverting to solid green.
Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can burn the leaves, while keeping in mind that too little light fades the pink variegation.
Water & Soil: Use a loose, well-draining aroid potting mix. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3'' of soil is dry, and never let the plant sit in standing water to prevent root rot.
Humidity: Thrives in 60--80% relative humidity. Place it near a humidifier or on a pebble tray.
Toxicity: Like all alocasias, it is toxic to pets if ingested
